Located in the heart of downtown Marietta, Georgia, our firm has played an integral role in the growth and development of this Atlanta suburb through representation of local government entities and through numerous real estate transactions.

Douglas Haynie

Experience
Doug Haynie is the founding partner of Haynie, Litchfield & White with a special focus in the areas of local government law, real estate law, and business law. He has served as the City Attorney for the City of Marietta, Georgia since 1990 and the City of Acworth, Georgia since 1996. Doug has also represented the Cobb County Marietta-Water Authority since 2005 and the Marietta Development Authority since 1989.
Doug is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association and is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, all Georgia trial courts, the Northern District of Georgia Federal Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and the Federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Gregg Litchfield

Gregg Litchfield is a partner at Haynie, Litchfield & White with a special focus in the areas of commercial real estate, residential real estate, corporate law and municipal law. Gregg has also served for many years as the attorney for the Cobb County Board of Elections.
Gregg is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, all Georgia trial courts, the Northern District of Georgia Federal Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.

Daniel White
Partner
EXPERIENCE
Daniel White is a partner at Haynie, Litchfield & White with a special focus in the areas of civil litigation, municipal law, real estate litigation, probate law and estate planning. He serves as the assistant City Attorney for the City of Marietta, Georgia and the City of Acworth, Georgia as well as representing other governmental entities and litigating for a variety of businesses, individuals and organizations. He also has experience in the area of real estate transactions, corporate law and adoptions.
Daniel is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association and is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, all Georgia trial courts, the Northern District of Georgia Federal Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and the Federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Marietta Rotary Club and was a member of the Leadership Cobb Class of 2007-2008. He currently serves as an elder at StoneBridge Church.
